If you don’t know how to compose a business letter, you can easily confuse your recipients. In business, we have expectations that letters will contain what we’re looking for, presented in a way with which we’re familiar and comfortable. All these factors combine to make business letters a specific case. Letter writing is clearly a core skill and a minimum requirement in just about any business. Business partners, vendors and, prospects all want to know you have the required level of writing skill that will give them confidence in dealing with your firm. A badly written letter can give recipients the impression they are dealing with a difficult, if not incompetent company, and it might not be worth getting involved with it at all.
